I joined Sharif Medical City in March 25.
I myself am a graduate of king Edward’s medical college 1987. I got my FRCS in 1992 worked as registrar in pediatric cardiac surgery at Royal Liverpool children Hospital and Birmingham Children Hospital prior to working as SHO in Bristol Royal Infirmary and Killingbeck Leeds. I started Pediatric cardiac surgery at The Children Hospital Lahore and was their first Assistant Professor then moved to Saudi Arabia in 2003 then spent the next 23 years there. I have worked as a consultant in Babtain Cardiac Center, King Fahad Medical city Riyadh and MCH Makkah. I have a few publications, presentations and have been an instructor of American Heart Association AHA, Pediatric Advanced Live Support PALS instructor in Saudi Arabia. I am pleased to say that the majority of patient here are operated for free under the chief minister program.
